Matthew was born and raised in Toronto and the surrounding suburbs and loves to call this city his home. Matthew trained with Toronto’s leading real estate companies and developers in order to deliver exceptional, over-the-top service to his clients backed by his strict code of ethics. Community involvement is part of Matthew’s nature and he continues to spend some of his free time in helping to make a difference. His continued involvement with the Heart & Stroke Foundation and the Jewish community in the city of Toronto helps Matthew give back to causes he believes in and is always happy to get involved in new causes. When Matthew is not helping his clients find their perfect fit, he spends his free time enjoying photography, golf, the outdoors, fine arts as well as being an automotive enthusiast.
Education and Background
After completing the Marketing Program at Sheridan College and receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and Economics from York University, Matthew began his career as an entrepreneur in the business world. He owned and operated a luxury and exotic car detailing business that honed his negotiating and marketing skills and gave him the meticulous attention to detail that his clients now know him for. While running this small business, Matthew furthered his education by receiving his Canadian Securities Certification and then continuing on to receive his Real Estate License followed by his Broker’s License and continues to pursue continuing education courses in the field of real estate and investments.

Stepping into the real estate world, Matthew started with one of the top firms in Toronto, Harvey Kalles Real Estate, where he quickly adapted to the world of luxury real estate, helping his clients buy and sell real estate in both hot and cold markets. After his first 2 years in real estate, Matthew pursued a position with Mizrahi Developments, where he became their Sales Ambassador for the tallest and most luxurious condo development in Canadain history: The ONE at 1 Bloor West. Here he was able to learn the ins and outs of the luxury pre-construction market and help sell over $500 Million dollar’s worth of pre-construction condos as a part of a team and was personally responsible for over $50M in sales. While in his position at Mizrahi Developments, Matthew joined the Yorkville office of Forest Hill Real Estate and has listed over $15M in property in 2020 alone.
Matthew possesses a deep knowledge of current market conditions, stellar negotiating skills, and unique ability to market properties above the rest. A huge part of his success comes from his expertise in the Yorkville and surrounding neighbourhoods and his background in the pre-construction/development industry – he knows exactly what each neighbourhood can offer, which has allowed him to pair his clients with the perfect property that has produced a long list of satisfied clients.
